As part of our 45th Anniversary Alumni Reunion, KCSB presents a Critical Issues and Careers in Media Panel, on Friday, April 27th, at 4pm in the Graduate Student Association Lounge (above the Multicultural Center) on the UCSB campus. KCSB has invited some of our alums who are currently working in a variety of media to discuss their careers and how current events are impacting media. This is a free event. Panelists will include:

Monica Lopez: Features Producer of national radio program Free Speech Radio News.
Alistair Jeffs: DIRECTV Producer.
Monty Luke: XLR8R Magazine columnist, DJ, music producer, & event promoter.
Jon Kim: Sound in Color Record Label, Turntable Los Angeles Store Manager.
Tim Owens: Executive Producer of NPR Jazz, former Director of Programming for NPR news and classical music formatted WETA-FM in Washington, D.C.
Rick Kendall: Former Director of Market Research & Planning for HBO & Vice President of Cinemax, now works with Internet based companies.
