“This is no April Fools! Award winning banjo player and songwriter Donna Lynn Caskey will be joining host Andy Doerr on The Roadtunes Sessions this Tuesday, April 1 to share her music and talk about her new CD.

Her CD release party is Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Ventura, 5654 Ralston St in Ventura. Donna Lynn wants to bless your soul with the restorative power of five-string banjo.

Her debut album, produced by Grammy-nominated Mark Hallman (Carole King, Ani DiFranco, Eliza Gilkyson), comes out one year to the day after she arrived in Austin, TX with a car full of banjos, a guitar and a fiddle to record at The Congress House Studio.

Nameless Heart consists of twelve original songs by Caskey that take a pure, timeless sound to heartfelt, comforting and sometimes edgy new places that honor the venerated instrument while stretching its boundaries. You can find out more about Donna Lynn at:
