I’m going to quote Peter Blegvad, as we’re not going to play him: “The king protects his subjects,/drawing all his strength from objects,/ we pay for with our blood./ And the prince is a catastrophe/only ‘cos he’s asked to be,/ he’s bad for the public good,/ bad for the public good./ The old moth-eaten monarchy,/ the cretinous aristocracy’s/ nostalgia for the mud.” What does that add up to? It’s the Royalty Show. Kings, Queens, Princes, Counts, and most of all Sir Duke. (hint hint) This show promises to be a royal pain in the ear. But in a good way, you know, that charms the commoners and sells lots of People magazines.
“Frank ‘n’ George” airs Tuesdays 10:30 am – 12:30 pm this quarter.
