This week it’s not so much that we lack a theme as the theme is about a lack–every song has something to do with holes. Needless to say this could be a very dangerous direction to head, but we know enough to avoid the potty-mouthed traps and instead will feature odes to holes by artists as diverse as Andrew Bird and Booker T., Louis Armstrong and Tangerine Dream, Hank Williams and Gong. It’s almost our Seinfeld show, a show about nothing. Wholly about holes. That’s a bunch of broken buckets, and more deeper, digging, and down than you can shake your shovel at.
“Frank ‘n’ George” airs Tuesdays 10 am – 12 noon this winter quarter.
