UCSB Arts & Lectures, Santa Barbara County’s Park Foundation and Arts Commission, and the Santa Barbara Film Commission present Gotta Sing! Gotta Dance!: The Great American Musical on Film – FREE movie screenings on consecutive Wednesdays and Fridays running from July 6th through August 26th.

Each Wednesday night at 730pm (“Wonderful Wednesdays”), Arts & Lectures will host screenings in UCSB’s Campbell Hall. Campus presentations of classic Hollywood musicals from the 1930s through the 1950s are being paired with the “Courthouse Movie Series,” which will host free outdoor showings of the same films, each subsequent Friday evening at 830pm (“Fabulous Fridays”) at the County Courthouse Sunken Garden in downtown Santa Barbara (where guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and refreshments).

Top Hat (July 6 & 8 )
Swing Time (July 13 & 15)
Ziegfield Girl (July 20 & 22)
The Gang’s All Here (July 27 & 29)
The Ziegfield Follies (August 3 only)
On The Town (August 10 & 12)
Singin’ in the Rain (August 17 & 19)
Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (August 24 & 26).
