He writes: “We kick things off with a preview of this coming weekend’s ‘Hello World! Free Isla Vista Concert,’ with the quirky indie-rock quartet Chicano Batman, mexico68 Afrobeat Orchestra (both from Los Angeles), and the Tijuana/San Diego-based electronic-music trio Los Macuanos. The unusual mini-music festival is being hosted by KCSB-FM and the UCSB MultiCultural Center on Saturday night, October 25th, starting at 7pm, in Anisq’oyo’ Park.

“The Freak Power Ticket” airs on Mondays in the fall from 11am-12noon on KCSB-FM.
