Acoustic melodies meet hip-hop flows tonight on “Chronosynclastic Infundibulum,” as Isla Vista local Daniel Allan joins guest host Lucy White at 12:30am for an in-studio jam session. Growing up, Daniel Allan was the kid who played guitar and sang songs around the campfire. In college, the campfire was replaced with empty bottles, but the spirit remained the same. Now a senior at UCSB, he continues to compose original songs on guitar and the charango, a stringed instrument originating from the indigenous cultures in Bolivia and Peru. Tonight Daniel will perform original songs in both English and Spanish for your listening pleasure.

“Chronosynclastic Infundibulum” airs Wednesdays in the summer from midnight-3am.
