KCSB News is covering the Candidates who are running to represent Isla Vista interests in November. Each evening on the KCSB 5pm News, a KCSB Reporter speaks one-on-one with each candidate running for a board seat on the Isla Vista Recreation and Park District, as well as the new Community Services District (which IV residents will vote on in November).
Tune-in to the KCSB 5pm Newscast to hear from a different candidate each weekday. And, on Wednesday, October 5th at 5pm, find out more about the inner-workings of the IVRPD, which is currently the only self-governing agency in Isla Vista.
Mark your calendar and plan to attend the KCSB News 3rd District Supervisor Debate featuring candidates Joan Hartmann and Bruce Porter fielding questions from a panel of student journalists, Thursday, October 13th at Isla Vista Theater 2. A reception starts at 6:30pm, and the debate at 7pm. You can also tune-in to the debate live on 91.9 FM KCSB and www.kcsb.org

Ethan Bertrand, Spencer Brandt, Jay Freeman, Fr. Jon-Stephen Hedges, Michael Kile, Natalie Jordan, and Andrew Gabriel Pragin.
