Update: This Friday, October 10th, Jolie Holland will be interviewed live by host Chris Vestuto on KCSB’s “Rocket Garden Holiday” (a program now airing Fridays from noon-2pm).

On Tuesday, October 14th, SOhO and KCSB present the musician Jolie Holland, live at SOhO Restaurant and Nightclub.

A founding member of The Be Good Tanyas, Holland’s music combines elements of rock, folk, traditional country, jazz, pop, and blues. Labelmates Tom Waits and Sage Francis are both outspoken fans of Ms. Holland. She will perform songs off her recent Anti- Records album, “The Living and the Dead,” and other works. With roots in the state of Texas, Holland shares the bill with the French anti-folk group Herman Düne. Showtime is 8pm.
