Are you interested in music, concerts, DJing, news, sports, engineering, or outreach?  This is your chance to volunteer with UC Santa Barbara’s on-campus community radio station 91.9 KCSB-FM!  KCSB is holding its Summer Session B Orientation Tuesday, August 6th on campus at HSSB Room #1174 (Humanties & Social Sciences Building) at 6pm.  Showing up is the first step towards gaining experience in a variety of fields, including broadcasting, production, and journalism.  That means there’s…

No experience necessary!

KCSB is your campus and community radio station.  KCSB is always commercial-free and provides alternative music, cultural, political, art, and sports programming to the tri-county area, which includes Ventura, SLO, and Santa Barbara counties.  The station has been broadcasting continuously for over 50 years.  KCSB offers a number of different opportunities, including:

•DJing and developing broadcast and production skills
•Attending concerts and learning promotion skills
•Performing community service with a non-profit through activism and local outreach
•Pursuing journalism for an independent news team
•Attending and covering live college sports events

KCSB is a great way to become involved on your campus and the community around you, as well as a way to meet others who share the same interests as you!  You can create your own music, cultural arts, or public affairs program by yourself or with a friend.  Come let your voice be heard!
