Tune in Monday, July 25, 8 to 9 a.m.: Ground Zero and Anti-Muslim Sentiments, a panel presentation co-sponsored by the UCSB Department of Religious Studies; the Interdisciplinary Humanities Center’s Geographies of Place series; and the Walter Capps Center for the Study of Ethics, Religion and Public Life. Featured speakers include: Maher Hathout, Senior Advisor at the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Los Angeles; Nuha Khoury, professor in the Department of History of Art and Architecture at UCSB; and Edward Linenthal, professor of History at the University of Indiana.
