Seun Kuti, the son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, the late Afrobeat-music legend and Nigerian political firebrand, will perform later tonight (Monday, April 16th, 8pm at Campbell Hall) with on-stage support by Egypt 80, featuring members of Fela’s original band.

On Thursday, Seun Kuti joined “The Freak Power Ticket” host Ted Coe, along with Eric Wolff, of “The Green Room” for a recorded phone interview, which will be broadcast this morning from 11am-12noon, along with songs by Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 and other selections of Afrobeat music.

“The Freak Power Ticket” airs on Mondays from 11am-12noon in the spring. “The Green Room” airs on Sundays from 6-8pm.
