Freebo, a world-renowned bass player, award-winning singer-songwriter, and an inspirational musical and spiritual teacher, will be joining host Andy Doerr on the “Roadtunes Sessions” this Tuesday, July 17th at 7:15 p.m. . Best known for more than a decade of recording and touring with Bonnie Raitt, he has also recorded with John Mayall, Maria Muldaur, CSN, Ringo Starr, Neil Young, Dr. John, Loudon Wainwright, Michelle Shocked, and countless others.

As a songwriter, Freebo has won numerous awards: including The 2012 and 2009 Great American Song Contest, 2008 Posi Award for Most Uniting Song, and the 2009 LA Music Award for Best Folk Artist, along with being a two-time Finalist in The International Songwriting Contest. He takes his years of experience and knowledge teaching workshops on songwriting and creativity as he shares his music at concerts and festivals around the country.
