Of his next broadcast (“A Labor of Love”), Ted Coe, producer/host of “The Freak Power Ticket” writes, “on today’s show I’ll be presenting a playlist entirely made up of covers of new wave, ska, and punk rock classics from the 1980s, partly inspired by Lady (L’Eighty) Darla Bea’s just-passed birthday, but also recognizing the lasting impact of so-called ‘college radio music’ from that period.

“The Freak Power Ticket” airs on Mondays in the summer from 11am-12noon.
