f-n-g-logo-bestNo, it’s not the Tony Orlando & Dawn show, or even “bands that make Branson purgatory.” It’s the tree show, woodn’t you know it? Orange you glad we won’t make more than this pear of puns? OK, ok, seriously, there are enough songs about trees out there that it’s a wonder Georgia Pacific hasn’t chopped them all down into cuts. For two hours you’ll hear a bunch of them and we hope you won’t end up board. (We can’t stop, sorry.) That means Monty Python and lumberjacks, Regina Carter covering Gram Parsons, Joyce Kilmer sung by Nelson Eddy,William Blake sung by Beth Orton, Brian Eno sung by nobody ’cause that one’s an instrumental. A whole forest of tree songs, we promise.

“Frank ‘n’ George” airs Tuesdays 10 am – 12 noon this summer.
