On today’s “Cat’s Cradle” (Wednesday, August 19), producer / host Amanda Katz will feature an interview with Trevor Beld Jimenez of LA-based folk-rock band Tall Tales and the Silver Lining, starting at around 2pm.

Beld Jimenez was a longtime fixture in Ventura as one of the founders of the popular indie-rock band Franklin for Short. Tall Tales and the Silver Lining released their most recent full-length LP, Tightropes, on the label Other Music earlier this year.

His psychedelic-tinged group will be performing a free poolside concert at The Goodland – A Kimpton Hotel in Goleta tomorrow night (August 20th) at 7:30pm, part of the Goleta hotel’s “Blur the Line – Live Music Series,” every Thursday from 6-8pm.

“Cat’s Cradle” airs on Wednesdays from 2-3pm PDT.
