f-n-g-logo-bestOf their next broadcast, hosts Frank ‘n’ George write:

“Blame the government shutdown, or perhaps just our own ill-mannered selves, but we’ve decided to do a show with the theme of “hate.” And there are a lot of hate songs, but once you leave out all the ones you can only play during safe harbor – boy, people turn into salty-tongued sailors when they’re hateful – that leaves about enough for a 2 hour show, if you edit a choice word or two out of some other songs. Will Frank admit he likes Jesus & Mary Chain simply because of their song “I Hate Rock ‘n’ Roll”? Will George push the boundaries by playing bands with the theme in their names (hello, Theatre of Hate) and by playing songs from albums with hate in their titles (thank you Superchunk for your latest release I Hate Music)? Is this theme all an excuse to play “Hate My Way” by Throwing Muses? Tune in to find out. Or don’t. Perhaps we don’t like you anyway.”

“Frank ‘n’ George” airs on Tuesdays 10 am – 12 noon fall quarter.
